There are many hairdressing courses out there, but not all of them are as intensive and bespoke as our 4 day cutting course. This is designed to help you achieve everything you’re capable of, and more. Day 1

Day 4
- After welcoming you into our beautiful barn and getting you settled into your training station we’ll get to work teaching you all the essentials on Health & Safety, product knowledge and client Consultation.
- Next, we’ll move on to our first live demo, where Holly Preston will guide you through sectioning techniques, a one-length cut to perfection with long layers and symmetrical shape to frame the face followed by great blow drying, hair styling and finishing techniques. With 1-2-1 guidance all the way. Students will work alongside Holly on the highest quality human hair training heads.
- You’ll be taken through a wide variety of styling techniques using methods and products that create long-lasting results. Includes using heated equipment to create Holly wood waves, bouncy curls (with and without volume), beachy waves, tight curls and loose curls.
- Get to grips with backcombing for unbeatable volume and learn how to use different settings on heated tools to help create desired effects. Practice using tongs in a range of sizes, GHDs and heated rollers.
Day 2
- Practice makes perfect, so we’ve designed the course to allow for as much practical time as possible. Day 2 will be filled with demos again and lots of hands-on time for you! You’ll perfect your one-length cut, long layers and master fringes before the day is out. Followed by more cutting-edge hair styling and finishing techniques.
Day 3
- It’s time to put your new skill-set to the test and try your hand at a beautiful Graduated Bob, with as much or as little help as you need. You’ll be amazed by what you can achieve! Holly will take you through how to cut with diamond precision and add your own creative flair to your cuts. As always, cuts will be followed with more hair styling and finishing techniques for astounding results.
Day 4
- You’ve now developed enviable cutting skills on medium and long hair, so day 4 is all about short hair cuts and short hair styling techniques using heated equipment & products. Immerse yourself in practical work, under Holly’s watchful eye, and discover how to create fashion-forward short cuts.
